Sunset Beach is the Premier Wavesailing location on the South African West Coast and one of the best kitesurfing and windsurfing spots in Table Bay.

It is a beautiful and tranquil place to enjoy activities such as these, or simply relax and be entertained by everone out on the water.

It has good South Easter winds from September through till April, less choppy water, waves which are more constant, offering good conditions for all levels and making it one of the most popular kite/windsurfing spots around.

For golfers we have negotiated excellent discount rates with adjoining Milnerton Golf Club, where your host is also a member. We can pre-book golf tee times at all the Cape golf courses, of which there are 20 within 30 minutes drive. A trip up Table Mountain in the new state-of-the-art revolving cable car or hiking up the mountain on any of the numerous walks - all only 15 minutes away from the guest house.

Spend time leisurely walking on the beautiful, tranquil beach with views of Robben Island, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. Watch locals pitting their skills against the elements with extreme sports such as wave-kiting, jet skiing etc.

Visit the V & A Waterfront which is one of South Africa's top 5 tourist attractions. Shops, restaurants and other fantastic facilities set up within a full working harbour which is only 12 minutes drive from us.

We have mountain bikes available for complimentary use.

Local shops, bars, restaurant, health club and cinemas within 5 minutes from the Guest House.

A visit to the beautiful vineyards of Stellenbosch, Paarl and Franschoek for wine tastings and a scenic drive.

A trip to Robben Island.

An exciting venture to the Ratanga Junction theme park or a shopping spree at biggest shopping centre in the Southern Hemisphere Century City - approximately 7 minutes drive away. Also a visit to Grand West Casino and Entertainment World.

And when the sun goes down, there are Restaurants and Pubs nearby to have a night on the town!
